We are happy to see some familiar faces again after students who participated in our 5-day journey funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in last academic year, have returned to Outward Bound Hong Kong for another 2-day journey in October. The aim of this is to review how successful the young people have been in implementing the outcome of their previous course and to ‘reignite’ their learning as Form 5 students. On top of the hard skills learnt, students also demonstrated an eagerness to take ownership of their time again at Outward Bound Hong Kong.
By finishing the 2-day course, the Outward Bounders are confident to take on leadership roles in school. It has been motivating hearing from teachers that the students are being more proactive and committed to varies school activities, such as organising the Caritas Bazaar.
After sending a proper farewell to our Form 5 students, we are excited to meeting our new batch of Form 4 students who will soon begin their "5+2" journey (5 days and another 2 days) in January 2019.
