From 5-day sea kayaking journeys for students from Band 3 schools through to 18-day sailing journeys aboard the Spirit of Outward Bound, providing opportunities for everyone is very much part of our mission. Every dollar donated means we can provide an opportunity for a participant who would otherwise not benefit.
Our beneficiaries over the last 50 years have included disabled students, at-risk youth, deaf and blind participants, students from disadvantaged backgrounds, those with individual learning needs.....with your help we can continue to provide these opportunities into the next 50 years.

OBHK provides funded experiences for participants with diverse backgrounds to attend our life-changing programmes. These groups include rehabilitating drug users, those with physical disabilities, the visually impaired, deaf groups, youth-at-risk and students from local Band 3 schools.
By working with OBHK you are not only providing the best possible experience for your own students but indirectly supporting this valuable community work.
Compassion is one of our desired outcomes and we hope that Outward Bound participants carry it with them along after they return home. In the post-course questionnaire, 81% of the participants reported that they are more willing to respond to the needs of others.
