Outward Bound programmes are very good training for AECOM. They are designed to push our emplyees to recognise that they can exceed their expectations and go further than they thought. That’s not an easy thing to do, but it’s worth it.
Outward Bound turns theory into practice. It makes everyone look at the bigger picture of who they are and what they can achieve by knowing, trusting and truly collaborating with others.

I strongly believe that Outward Bound helps my colleagues build confidence and most importantly to step out of their comfort zones and boost a positive mindset. Having team building activites in a different setting (nature environment) is excellent as it fosters creativity and unique perspectives from each team members.

This expedition has given a chance for our team to reflect on our weakness and tendencies. The activities stretch our limits to the point that it shows our genuine selves. which is very helpful as we don’t have much chnace to show all sides of ourselves in the work environment. Overall, it has been an insighful and thought provoking experience to discover my team and myself. My team enjoyed it a lot and truly believed in the power of OB in developing individuals and teams.
