COURSE OVERVIEW
The Adventurer Course is an immersive five‑day, four‑night programme for 15–17‑year‑olds that combines purposeful sea‑and‑land challenges with structured reflection to support real personal growth. Based on scenic Wong Wan Chau (Double Island), participants rotate through progressive modules — coastal navigation and kayaking, expedition hiking and route planning, campcraft and wild camping — plus supervised solo time and nightly debriefs that turn moments of challenge into lasting learning. A signature highlight is the Sunrise Summit Challenge: a guided pre‑dawn hike (hiking in the dark) that culminates in watching the sunrise — a powerful moment of achievement and reflection.
Led by OBHK’s qualified full‑time instructors and delivered to AEE‑aligned standards, the course is not about testing limits for their own sake but about helping teens build resilience, practical outdoor competence and clearer direction as they prepare for the next stages of school and life.
