COURSE OVERVIEW

The Outdoor Reset is a 3‑day, 2‑night expedition that uses outdoor experiential learning to create meaningful, transformational shifts. Participants live simply in the field and move together as a team on land and water journeys—hiking, short‑distance kayaking or rafting, and, where conditions allow, stream/gorge exploration and coastal challenges. Practical tasks (route planning, navigation, shared cooking and kit care, ropes and optional jetty jumps) are paired with daily structured reflection to surface behaviour patterns and practice new ways of deciding, communicating and leading under pressure. The focus is on transferable skills—what you learn in the wild is designed to be used back in daily life and at work.

Who is it for?

  • Adults (18–65) seeking a meaningful short expedition — friends, individuals or corporate teams who want a purposeful reset and practical, experience-based growth.

  • Basic fitness and mobility

Throughout the journey, participants will gain #FutureSkills through progressive, real‑world challenges such as kayaking, hiking, jetty jump, route planning, designed to create meaningful shifts they can apply in life and work.

They will develop:

  • Make faster, higher‑quality decisions under pressure

  • Shift from reactive to intentional action: clarify roles, delegate and align team purpose

  • Build adaptive resilience: manage stress, recover quickly and sustain performance in uncertainty

  • Change communication habits: give/receive constructive feedback and run short after‑action reviews

  • Deepen environmental awareness: recognise interdependence with nature and apply low‑impact practices in daily life
