Hi, this is Rico. We sang along in every watch. The weather is beautiful with moderate winds of 18-25 knots. We are upwind all the way. We have passed the fishing area and are now heading straight for Taiwan.

But I've lost so much sleep - I’ve got a rush on my back. The cabin is hot with limited airflow, it was really hard to fall asleep. I was sweating all over my body every time I woke up. Meanwhile, the ship is at an angle of about 20 degrees most of the time, so sometimes my back is pressed against the wall all night.

With all that being said, it has been an exciting and enjoyable voyage so far. The sky is full of stars, which I guarantee is beyond imagination. It's the first time I've seen a shooting star during my night watch.

We are halfway to Taiwan. I hope we continue to sail smoothly.
