Meet Clara Chan, the Face of Courage!
Clara from Lee Kee Group will take up a huge challenge on Nov 25 - to abseil from 1000ft at the iconic One Island East.
HK Vertical 1000 is not just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step out of their comfort zone, but also the chance to fundraise for a local charity - Outward Bound Hong Kong and its work to #FutureProofYOUth.

Throughout life, people face challenges that can make them feel discouraged, and attempts that require courage.
HK Vertical 1000 is a breakthrough challenge that takes a lot of courage to decide to take on. Every time I think of stepping up 1,000 feet and taking that brave step outward, my heart beats faster with excitement!
I even ask myself what motivates me to accept the challenge of descending from a rope at 1,000 feet!
A friend of mine once said, "Don't be scared and don't overthink it! You'll enjoy every moment and the main thing is to find the bravery to take the initial step. I believe you can do it!”
Even though I know it's easier said than done, I am determined to take that first step and dedicate myself fully to each following step. The beautiful views along the way from 1000 feet above the ground will allow me to uncover more about myself.
My main hope is that this event will raise funds to give more opportunities young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in Outward Bound programmes, thus boosting their confidence and self-belief.
