Meet Olina Chen, the Face of Courage!
Supported by Edward Ma Jr., she will take up a huge challenge on Nov 25 -
to abseil from 1000ft at the iconic One Island East.
HK Vertical 1000 is not just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step out of their comfort zone, but also the chance to fundraise for a local charity - Outward Bound Hong Kong and its work to #FutureProofYOUth.
Listen to her story:
I am participating in the HK vertical 1000 challenge because I see it as a thrilling opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new challenges. It's not just about the adrenaline rush; it's also a chance to demonstrate courage and resilience in the face of fear. This experience, I believe, will empower me personally and professionally by showing that I can overcome obstacles, no matter how daunting they may seem.
I am willing to support the Outward Bound outdoor program because I deeply value its emphasis on personal growth, leadership, and community building through outdoor adventures. This program not only fosters physical fitness and environmental awareness but also promotes essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. By supporting Outward Bound, I am contributing to the development of stronger, more confident individuals who are better prepared to face life's challenges.
