This is the fourth day we go sailing. It’s really exiting. Because we finally arrive in GaoXiong. It’s faster than we expected. We park in the Ya Wan Pier and do the check in before 12. During the check in procedure, we have to stay on the boat and we finally get our SIM card. It’s so funny that all of us just focusing on our phone when we get it.

However, there is bad news. Unfortunately, our teammate Francesca cannot get the Taiwan visa today. Therefore, she cannot get off the boat. Also, we have another teammate Fan twisted her leg, so she has to go clinic directly with our instructor Charlie after the check in. Luckily, the doctor said she can keep sailing with us just don’t do any big movement. It’s so glad that everyone is safe and stay together.

After the check in, the first things we do is take the shower. We have not taken the shower for three days already. Then, we separate 3 people in a group and go around GaoXiong. We go to have lunch on land and refill the resources to the boat. We drink a lot of bubble tea. Later on, we gathered and go into a gaming store. We win a lot of gifts, and we prepare one for our captain Amelia. We really get a lot of fun in it.

Then, we bought take away and had dinner on the boat. During dinner, we shared our feeling about the past 3-day sailing journey from Hong Kong to GaoXiong and plan our routes. We finally decide and hope to go around the whole Taiwan within 4 days which about 650 nautical miles. I am sure that my team can do it because we are so firm and full of passion. We will continue our journey tomorrow morning. It’s better to have early sleep tonight. Really looking forward to the following journey.

Originally, I will write this dairy with another teammates James. He is a leg 2 member. He came for the training and preparation. We experience many things together. Unfortunately, he cannot come to the expedition. However, I know that James is with us. He gives a lot of blessing and encouragement to us. Let’s share our experience to you when we get back to Hong Kong. Miss you James.
